When Hearing Ability Gets Problem

Since I move to this town for higher level of my education at this college, I really feel happy. This is the school I really wish to study in and this is the peaceful town I have longed to visit – now I even stay here! I stay with my uncle who has been having a problem with his hearing ability. My aunt has already passed away few years ago now he lives with his only daughter. I am glad to live with them because they are so kind to me since my childhood. I promise myself to be kind as well as helpful and useful for them.
In regard of fading ability to hear, I remember my best friend in high school. Her father also got the same problem due to his work consequence. He used to work in an airport hangar that apparently is always full of plane machine noise. He suffered for hearing problem after all. Good thing is that the airline company defrayed him to get cochlear implant which has been functional so far. He now could hear quite well, even much better than the time he still worked in the hangar. I wonder if this will work well for my uncle. I guess I need to check it up on internet.
An online site related to hearing problems and solution explains quite well. It says that this implant needs accuracy of the problem the patient suffers. It is not as simple as people in common think but, with the aid of advance technology, most of therapies, treatment, surgeries and recoveries concerning to hearing problems could be undergone safely and pertinently. I need to tell this to my uncle but of course I must really be careful in my conveyance. I worry if he gets insulted with my idea. So I prefer to talk to my cousin in advance.
She seems to be happy to know about it. She actually knows something about this kind of implant for hearing problem but she has never known about cochlear implant surgery. In her curiosity, she asks me to show her much more and I lead her to the table where my laptop is still online on the site. We both then read the whole information and suggestion more thoroughly but we both end up in a slight hesitation whether a surgery for the implant would really be working for him. We of course need to know it for sure, and we have one word to agree that doctor knows better than us – it means that we have to consult with our doctor about the possibility of cochlear implant for my uncle. The doctor will tell us if it is possible or impossible; we need to know it soon.
